Mel B says the Spice Girls are planning an “exciting” reunion.
The 34-year-old singer has revealed the girl group - also consisting of Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Geri Halliwell - are ecstatic to be working on the comeback project.
“We are definitely going to be doing something together again soon. We’re actually working on it right now. I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but it’s really, really exciting. I can’t wait to be singing with the girls again!” she told BANG Showbiz. However, Scary Spice has refused to give extra further details of their reunion.
The pop star - who appeared on the fifth season of Dancing with the Stars - added: “I really don’t want to say too much just yet.”

The Spice Girls are to planning to perform a concert in South Africa.
The group sparked rumors of a reunion last week when four former members - Mel B, Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton - had dinner together in London and it has now emerged they were discussing plans for a special show to launch the World Cup soccer tournament next year.
Mel B and her husband Stephen Belafonte have brokered the deal and are keen to press ahead with the plan - even though Victoria Beckham doesn’t want to take part.
“Mel is determined to get the girls back together for the World Cup and wants them to plough ahead as a foursome if Victoria doesn’t want to take part,” a source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper. “She has got the others excited by the idea of a one-off appearance. They are very interested.”

Robbie Williams is to perform with Take That next month.
The “Millennium” singer has been invited to play at a special concert the group’s singer Gary Barlow is organizing in aid of charity Children In Need and plans to join his former bandmates for a one-off performance.
Robbie quit Take That in 1995, shortly before the rest of the group went their separate ways. “Yes, something is finally going to happen. Me and Gary have been hanging out a lot lately, talking things over,” Williams revealed. “It’s been absolutely amazing. I’ve always wanted to be in a band ever since we split.”

Bee Gees Planning a Reunion

The surviving Bee Gees are planning to play live together again. Robin and Barry Gibb are “getting back together” six years after their brother, Maurice, died in 2003 of a heart attack following surgery for an intestinal blockage.
Robin, 59 - who was Maurice’s twin - said: “I’ve just been with my brother in Miami and we have decided we are going to perform again.” He explained they both feel the time is right as he and his sibling have now “got through the breakwater of emotions” after Maurice’s death, and feel ready to take to the stage again.
“Not just a brother but a comrade in arms really. It’s an emotional thing when you lose someone that close,” Robin said of Maurice.
Barry, 63, and Robin announced shortly after Maurice’s death they would not use the Bee Gees name anymore when performing, although Robin wouldn’t rule out the possibility last summer. “We decided that on an emotional level. Whether or not that will change, we don’t know. It’s a personal thing and we’ll do it when the time is right,” he said.
The group, formed by Robin and Maurice in 1958, became synonymous with the 70’s disco movement, and were instantly recognizable for their falsetto tones, beards and flared trousers. They have sold over 100 million records to date, and their hits including “Stayin’ Alive,” “Night Fever” and “More Than A Woman.”

In the past year, Tionne Watkins (a.k.a T-Boz) has kept herself busy with appearances on both The Celebrity Apprentice and The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Now she has an even bigger project in store.
Later this fall, the musician will reunite with another former TLC member for a concert in Vegas. The show with Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas will be their first in the US since 2002. That’s also the same year Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes - the third member of the Grammy-winning R&B/Hip Hop group - was killed after a car accident in Honduras.

JC Chasez Dashes Lance’s Hopes for an ‘N Sync Reunion
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Reunions, Pop
Although he has seen recent fame on Dancing with the Stars, written a New York Times best seller and almost made it into space, Lance Bass can’t seem to shake his glory days.
In countless interviews, the former ‘N Sync member has made it quite clear that he would be open working again with his old mates. He’s also made himself look kinda desperate in the process. Last November, Bass shared his reunion hopes with MTV. “There’s always a possibility for a tour or reunion. It’s something that we really haven’t discussed yet. But it’s something I would love to talk about. I think it’s maybe needed in the next year or so, and I think our fans would love it, ‘cause we never got to say goodbye.”
Lance then basically repeated himself in a recent chat with Billboard. “You never know what the other guys are going to be able to do or what they’re thinking, but I hope in the next few years we would definitely be able to do another tour and another album.”

Phish Schedules Reunion Engagements
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Concerts / Tours, Reunions, Alternative, Rock

The new year will not only be about change…it’ll apparently be about reuniting.
So far we’ve already learned about reunion tours for Fleetwood Mac and the Grateful Dead. Now we can add Phish to that growing list.
Although the group split (or took an extended hiatus) back in 2004, the band’s four members will be collaborating once again for eight engagements later this summer. After a three-day stint in March, Phish will resume their tour starting June 4 in New York. (Tickets go on sale January 30th.)
