Phil Collins Quits Music

Phil Collins, 7-time Grammy winner, is retiring from music. Collins has enjoyed a lengthy career in the entertainment game, serving as a successful solo artist and front man for Genesis. His hits include "Sussido," "In the Air Tonight" and "Another Day in Paradise."
“I don’t think anyone’s going to miss me,” the singer was quoted in Time magazine, speaking on his retirement. Collins currently makes his home in Switzerland.
Collins, 60, released his album "Going Back" in September 2010. He’s decided to quit recording due to failing health, and we wish him all the best.

Phil Collins Forced to Retire Drumming

After numerous years seated behind a drum set, musician Phil Collins has been forced to place the sticks down. The former Genesis singer says its far too painful for him to take up the instrument now.
The 58-year-old, who recently saw Mike Tyson imitate his “In The Air Tonight” solo in The Hangover, had been playing for most of his life. His stint with Genesis lasted 26 years before he moved on to a successful solo career.
