Emotional Boyzone Unsure About Tour

Boyzone may be too distraught over Stephen Gately’s death to tour.
The group confirmed earlier this week they are planning to use vocals recorded by Stephen before his sudden and unexpected death last month on their new album, but frontman Ronan Keating said their grief may prevent them from taking the new material on tour.
“We’ve got his vocals for several tracks, thank God. But as for going on the road, we may tour, we may not. I keep remembering things and I get emotional,” Ronan said. The singer also revealed he thinks the band’s next single - which will feature Stephen’s voice and was written by British pop star Mika - will have a huge impact.

Robbie Williams is to perform with Take That next month.
The “Millennium” singer has been invited to play at a special concert the group’s singer Gary Barlow is organizing in aid of charity Children In Need and plans to join his former bandmates for a one-off performance.
Robbie quit Take That in 1995, shortly before the rest of the group went their separate ways. “Yes, something is finally going to happen. Me and Gary have been hanging out a lot lately, talking things over,” Williams revealed. “It’s been absolutely amazing. I’ve always wanted to be in a band ever since we split.”

Mika Inspired by Weird Teen Years

Mika - who is known for his outrageous outfits and wild curly hair - says his new LP, The Boy Who Knew Too Much, was inspired by his turbulent adolescence, which he now wants to forget.
“It’s still joyful pop music. I needed to liberate myself from my childhood - I was a weird, reclusive teen,” the 26-year-old said.
The “Love Today” singer’s forthcoming album, the follow-up to 2007’s Life in Cartoon Motion, even contains a vengeful “break-up” song inspired by a bitter split.
“There’s a song called ‘Rain,’ which was a break-up letter, but I thought it would be funny to put a disco beat behind it. It’s my form of revenge - I’m quite a passive aggressive person,” Lebanon-born Mika explained to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper. “A lot of artists are more protective of themselves on their second album. I don’t give a s**t how I’m perceived. Famous people are boring and only think of themselves.”
For Mika’s latest single “We Are Golden,” the eccentric pop star was asked to act like a teenager, and ended up stripping off. “The director did ‘Paparazzi’ for Lady Gaga and asked me what my 17-year-old self would be wearing. I said my underwear, and then I was there in white boxers flexing my muscles. I almost wanted to vomit,” he revealed.
