Iggy Azalea has collaborated with Jennifer Lopez on a new song.
The "Fancy" rapper has confirmed she has recorded a track with the "Same Girl" hitmaker for Jennifer's new album A.K.A.
Talking about working with the star during an interview with DJ Ryan Seacrest, she said, "She actually only asked me about two weeks ago, so I didn't have to keep the secret for too long. When I opened on tour for Beyonce I had to keep that under wraps for months, which really killed me."
The Australian singer described keeping her mouth shut about the collaboration as a "breeze" because it wasn't long before she could spill the beans. "I love her. I definitely used to sit in my bedroom as a young girl and lip-sync Jennifer Lopez songs, so it's very cool to have a song with her on her album," she went on.
Jennifer Lopez claims her divorce inspired her new album.
The 44-year-old star has revealed her split from ex-husband Marc Anthony in 2011, after eight years of marriage, was a "turning point" in her life and gave her a different perspective on love, which she has written about for her tenth record.
"What I thought about love for my first nine albums is very different from what I think about it now after everything I've been through. My goal was to just be as honest as I could. You know, I'd gone through a lot in my life right at that point when I went on tour. I'd been through a divorce. A lot of things had happened. I really felt like it was a turning point in my life," Jennifer - who has six-year-old twins Max and Emme with the Latin singer - told Popcrush.com.
The "On The Floor" hitmaker - who started dating her 26-year-old former back-up dancer, Casper Smart, just months after splitting from Marc - also spoke about the video for new single, "I Luh Ya Papi," and admits she enjoyed working with topless male models for the promo: "It was a lot of fun. Let me tell you something, guys have been doing these videos for years because it's fun to do. When I was doing the song, I felt like it was very tongue-in-cheek... the video, we decided to do the same thing.
Jennifer Lopez and Taylor Swift are to collaborate on a new track.
The 44-year-old singer and the "Everything Has Changed" hitmaker have reportedly locked down a plan to duet on Jennifer's upcoming eighth studio album - expected later this year - after they performed together during Taylor's final Red Tour show last month.
"Both of them are huge fans of each other and excited to work together!" a source said.
The blonde beauty recently shared behind-the-scenes footage from her gig at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, which shows Jennifer saying, "Thank you so much for allowing our family to come and be a part of your family. To create a beautiful moment, thank you, Taylor, for being so gracious and beautiful and loving me enough to have me be here tonight. I feel very blessed to be able to share the stage with you, and I just hope that everybody has the best show that they could ever have."
Jennifer Lopez believes "women have taken over the music industry."
The "Live it Up" hitmaker insists she's been in the trade for so long that she's definitely "here to stay" and that a lot of male artists aren't doing as well because females have been breaking the industry for over 20 years.
"Women have taken over the music industry - when you think of all the female artists who are out. Even going back 20 years, back to Cher, Gloria Estefan and that whole time with Mariah Carey and Celine Dion and then the next wave which was me and then Britney [Spears] and Beyonce to what's continued to now the Rihanna and Lady Gaga. With all these people there have been a few guys - but we have really had it on lock for a bit."
Taylor Swift led the winners at the Billboard Music Awards last night, taking home eight prizes.
The "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" hitmaker - who is known for her turbulent love life and relationships with stars including Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer - paid tribute to her loyal fans as she picked up the evening's top honor, the coveted Artist of the Year prize.
"Thank you for making my music the soundtrack to your crazy emotions. You are the longest and best relationship I've had," she said.
As well as Artist of the Year, Taylor also took home honors including Top Female Artist, Top Country Artist, Billboard 200 Album and Top Country Album for Red, and Top Country Song for "We Are Never Getting Back Together."
Jennifer Lopez and estranged husband Marc Anthony reunited on stage over the weekend.
The American Idol judge and the Latino singer - who announced their seven-year marriage was over last July - held hands as they appeared during the finale of the Q'Viva! The Chosen Live show at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Events Center on Saturday.
The event was the live ending for their TV talent program and the former couple - who have four-year-old twins, Max and Emme, together - watched the talented finalists perform.
Despite their split, Jennifer and Marc looked close throughout the night and at one point they embraced each other on stage, much to the delight of the crowd. Jennifer - who is now dating backing dancer Casper Smart - and Marc have always vowed to make their split as amicable as possible for the sake of Max and Emme.
