Details on Boyzone Member’s Tragic Death

The person who first saw Stephen Gately’s body has been unable to sleep since the discovery.
Georgi Dochev had returned to the holiday apartment shared by the Boyzone star and his partner Andy Cowles after meeting the couple in a gay club in Majorca last Friday. The 33-year-old singer was later spotted in a “crouched, prayer position” the next morning.
“I was the one who found him. I am devastated. I came from the bedroom and found him dead and I woke his partner. He was white and very cold,” Dochev said. “I was the one who called the ambulance because Andy was too upset. He was holding Stephen. It’s awful, I am in shock and I cannot sleep for days. It is really upsetting. I have only known him for a while. I have talked to the police but I cannot speak of other things. I just wish I could have saved him.”

Ozzy Osbourne Misdiagnosed as HIV Positive
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Gossip, Rock
Ozzy Osbourne was once diagnosed as HIV positive - but later told the test results were wrong.
The Black Sabbath rocker was devastated to be told he had contracted the deadly virus, before further medical investigations revealed the results were due to the damage years of drug and alcohol abuse had caused to his immune system.
“I went to the doctor and had an AIDS test and he told me it was positive. That was one of the worst days of my life,” Ozzy explained in an interview with Glamour magazine. “When I used to get f***ing loaded I would get myself into all kinds of situations. It turns out that because I was drinking and using drugs so much, my immune system had dropped so that it was a borderline result. When I went back to be tested again it was negative.”

Marilyn Manson Diagnosed with Swine Flu

UPDATE: The musician’s concert promoters deny Manson has the virus.
“Tainted Love” singer Marilyn Manson has just been revealed that he’s been tainted…with the H1N1 virus.
The 40-year-old, who lists former wife Dita Von Teese and Evan Rachel Wood among his exes, recently announced the news via his Facebook page. “So I have officially been diagnosed, by a real doctor, with THE SWINE FLU,” he wrote. “I know everyone will suggest that f****** a pig is how this disease was obtained. However, the doctor said, my past choices in women have, in ‘no way’ contributed to me acquiring this mysterious sickness. Unfortunately, I am going to survive.”
Although Manson was in the middle of a Canadian tour when the diagnosis was made, he has no intention of canceling his scheduled gigs. In fact, he was recently filmed shooting snot onto attendees at a show in Ottawa.
Marilyn is the not the first celebrity to publicly reveal a swine flu diagnosis. Back in July, it was announced that Harry Potter star Rupert Grint had missed several days of filming after contracting the virus.

Aerosmith’s Joe Perry Disappointed with Steven Tyler’s Setbacks
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Concerts / Tours, Gossip, Rock

Every time I hear someone attempt “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” on American Idol, I think to myself: “I wonder what happened to Steven Tyler?” Apparently I’m not the only one asking that question these days.
Over the past year and a half, the Aerosmith lead singer has suffered a number of physical setbacks including sore feet (seriously) and a broken shoulder. (The latter problem forced a cancellation of the band’s summer tour.)
But if you’d like to know how Tyler is doing now, you shouldn’t ask Joe Perry. The guitarist hasn’t exchanged words with Steven for some time now.

Madonna collapsed on stage twice over the weekend.
The 51-year-old pop star lost consciousness due to exhaustion on Saturday, but carried on with her performance at the Vasil Levski Stadium in Sofia, Bulgaria, despite her condition.
Madonna - who is on her Sticky & Sweet world tour - first fainted during a rendition of her 1983 hit “Holiday,” when her limp body was held up by backing dancers until she regained consciousness. In a video message posted on his group’s website, Adam “MCA” Yauch regretfully announced the end of the Beastie Boys’ summer tour. The cancellation and a delay of their next album are results of a recent cancer diagnosis.
It was determined approximately two weeks ago that Yauch was suffering from more than just swollen glands. He will now receive surgery and radiation for cancer found in his left parotid gland and a lymph node in that area.

Cancer the reason for Michael Jackson O2 Arena concert delays?
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Concerts / Tours, Pop
Michael Jackson has delayed his London concert series. Jackson will now kick off his O2 Arena residency on July 13, five days later than originally planned, as we reported yesterday. It has been reported the 50-year-old Jackson is to have surgery on his skin cancer today, with doctors removing cancerous flesh on his chest and nose.
Michael Jackson may also need radiation gun therapy to ensure all diseased cells are destroyed, according to Britain’s The Sun newspaper. Randy Phillips, president of AEG Live who are promoting the tour, has dismissed Jackson’s rumoured cancer battle and stressed the delay is down to the “massive and technically complex show”. He said: “Michael is not sleeping with elephants and not suffering skin cancer. He’s a magnet for weird stories but he’s in great shape. I’d trade my body for his tomorrow. This show has grown in size and scope, thereby, necessitating more lead time for manufacture of the set, programming the content for the massive video elements, and, most importantly, more time for full production and dress rehearsals. As much as we agonised over this change in the original schedule, we are sure the fans will understand when they experience the level of entertainment Michael Jackson intends to deliver while also ensuring the safety of the musicians, cast and crew and the crisp execution of the production.”
