Iggy Pop Wants to Cover Bing Crosby Tune

Iggy Pop wants to celebrate Christmas with his own holiday tunes.
The “Lust For Life” singer has been wanting to add a festive hit to his catalogue and considers recording a Bing Crosby classic every year. “I am a real threat to cover ‘White Christmas’. I’m ready, cocked and loaded,” he said.
The 62-year-old rocker also revealed he that he’s a big fan of Frank Sinatra and has plans to fulfil a long-held ambition to record his own versions of some of the crooner’s hits.
“I’ve always wanted to beat up ‘Willow Weep for Me’ and there’s ‘Only the Lonely’ - that’s the title track of my favorite Frank Sinatra album,” Iggy added.

To help us celebrate the season, the American Idol will promote the CD over a list of tour dates. The 18-year-old will first hit Salt Lake City on November 24 and later wind down in Westbury, NY on December 20.
