Beyonce Covers Alanis Morissette

During yesterday’s kickoff concert in in Edmonton, Alberta, (a.k.a. Sasha Fierce) paid tribute to her host country by honoring two famous Canadian artists.

While closing “If I Were a Boy,” Sasha Fierce segued into the gritty version of ’s “You Oughta Know.” (In the video above, you can see how she skillfully avoided saying the “F” word.)

Later in the show, the newlywed donned a wedding gown and sang Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel.” (You can view that clip after the jump.)

Here’s hoping she rocks out to Heart’s “Barracuda” when she crosses the border and stops in Seattle.

MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice On Stage Together

MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice

Forget about Eminem and Dre. What’s the hottest pairing this month? Hammer and Ice.

Later this month, two of the biggest acts from the early 90’s will be teaming up for a one-night only concert. The event, titled “Hammer Pants and Ice” (I kid you not), will be the first time rappers Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer have shared the same stage since their glory days.

Needing a reason to break out your Hammer Pants? In the mood to “stop, collaborate and listen”? Well, then book your tickets to Orem, Utah. Tickets for the February 27th package deal start at just $32.50. (Those with a few extra bucks in their baggy pants can also purchase a Meet and Greet as well.)

Britney Spears Schedules Good Morning America Concert

Britney Spears

Score another one for the Disney network. Just over a week after debuting Britney’s new video, it’s being reported that ABC will also be hosting Spears’ return concert.

According to the New York Post, the pop star will be hitting New York City’s Bryant Park on December 2. The Good Morning America appearance - which happens on the singer’s 27th birthday - will air on the same day the new album, Circus, drops.

While any Britney appearance would be highly-anticipated, this winter concert carries extreme significance. The morning show gig will be the first time Spears has sung (or lip-synched) in public since her 2007 MTV spectacle. The GMA event will also help kick off the tour reportedly set for next spring.
